Tips To Improve Your Golf Swings

By Heather Wakefield

"Lot of people ask "How is a golf ball is hit using a driver". Almost all golfers feel that driver being the hardest club to be used for straight and long drives. Most people can hit it far, or some can even hit is straight. Long and straight? That is a different story.

Many a time golfers use other clubs in a better way but find difficult to use driver. I faced the problem earlier though by knowing the tips now I can use it well as I use an ordinary swing system.

The position of the ball plays a very important part in a drive. By keeping the ball very far back, most golfers can never hit the drive in the way they want to do. The stance is also important.

The general rule is to hit the ball straight by positioning your heel in the front. This stance assists you to make proper contact mostly using the square part of the club.

Not swinging very hard is the second lesson you should learn. Because it is distance hitting, many people think that hitting very hard is important. To their disappointment it usually becomes a bad shot.

Professionals can achieve 80% swing and this fact can be ascertained from what one can witness seeing some great tee shots which Fred Couples and Ernie Els have played comfortably and effortlessly. Actually, any pro will be able to connect on these shots when most people will struggle mightily with it.

By practice, you should develop your swing for consistent drives which will give you self confidence. It is also essential that when you are a learner, trying to learn the various shots employed in the game of golf, you should have a specific goal to be achieved. Your swing is developed that way. It will be simple and can be repeated even when you are under pressure.

Personally my game improved when I began to follow the tips. If you try them, it should help you too or at least lead you to something else that ends up working for you.
