Do you spend a lot of time in your garden trying to make it just right? Most gardeners would never think of using trash to treasure garden ideas. Some people may not know what trash to treasure is, it is simply using things that would normally be trash to make a treasure for your garden.
If you have an old car tire lying around somewhere you can use that to plant flowers in. You wouldn't think that a tire would be pretty with plants growing out of it but it really is. If you have three tires you could put two side by side and put one on top of them in the middle and plant flowers in all of them. It will surprise you just how pretty it actually turns out.
You can also plant flowers or plants in an old watering can. If you have an old beat up looking tin watering can just fill it with your favorite plant and see how beautiful it turns out. When the plant starts to grow it will even grow out of the spout too and it looks so amazing. You can also use an old bicycle. You can either use the whole bike or just the wheels off the bike.
When using a bike you should consider planting something that has vines like an ivy plant. You just put the old bike in the middle and the vines will grow up the bike and wrap around the different parts of the bike. You should try to find an old bike that is rustic looking instead of using a new one because it looks much better. Your friends will be green with envy when they see the different things you have done with all your old items.
When trying to come up with unique ideas just look around at the things you have lying around your house or garage that you do not use anymore and try to vision what it would look like in your garden with plants growing in or around it. You could even use kitchen items like an old tea kettle to plant something in.
