You would really be certain that you are looking good if you had golden earrings, bracelets and necklaces. However, you should know that the golden jewels require proper maintenance if you are to use for a long time. Most people lose their golden jewels because of poor maintenance especially if they do not ask the manufacturers of the sellers how best they should keep them. If you buy them in their special bags, you should always keep them there if you are not using them to prolong their lifespan.

It is also important for you to know that, jewels need to be removed every time you are washing the clothes, showering or bathing. Soaps have reactive agents that can affect the elegance of the material. This in turn will reduce the durability and value of your items. There are special cleaning reagents that are specially made to keep them clean and attractive.

Some chemicals such as chlorine with is added to domestic water also discolors jewels. Chlorine is a powerful bleacher that can cause a permanent damage to your jewels. Some places such as hot tubs and swimming pools have the highest levels of chlorine. You should therefore make an effort of removing them before you undertake swimming activity.

Most of these jewels are very delicate and they require special and careful handling. They can easily bend and assume funny shapes if you keep them together with other heavier items. This is the reason you should not mix the golden jewels with other items. Where possible, you should keep them in their own place to avoid other objects from pressing or bending them.

If you want to clean the jewels, you should know the right reagents to use since not all reagents are good for this purpose. To begin with, you should have warm water in a basin and then add ammonia. You should be sensitive to maintain the right amount of ammonia since too much of it may not bring out the best appearance out of the golden jewels you are cleaning.

Always wipe them with a clean and soft cloth after washing so as to make them appear shinny. You should also form the habit of cleaning them with a dry piece of cloth so as to wipe off dust from their services. You should also protect your ornaments from extreme weather condition since this might affect their durability and appearance.

Lastly, you should remove them especially if you are passing through dusty roads to prevent them from collecting much dust. If you have to attend a ceremony in the remote areas where whirlwinds are common, you should avoid wearing them when dust is too much in the air. You should instead carry their bags to keep them and wear once dust settles.
