Chi is that mysterious energy of which we are built, which surrounds surrounds us, is us, and...what the heck is it? To understand this fabled substance called Chi it is necessary to define exactly what and who we are. To define what and who we are we must undertake an examination of our True Body.
Your immediate body, the body you are currently in, plays the guitar the guitar and taps the keyboard and talks to friends and uses the six senses. You are the eyeball and the hair and the eardrum and toenails and throat and everything that is in between and which experiences organic sensation. You traverse the points of the planet and have existence, and pursue your pleasures of the flesh.
The body that we are concerned about, however, is the body that is built of Chi. This is the body which exists beyond the senses and into whatever distances we can perceive. Indeed, perceptions through the six senses have to be put aside if you wish to experience the larger body of yourself.
Now we come to the question, if everything is our body, then what is Chi? Chi is our body, and includes the organic thing you have presence in, and everything else, too. We don't care what it is, it could be a wavelength, or an idea, or cares, we just care that it is.
How do we take control this thing we call Chi? I mean, if you can move an move your limbs and walk about, why can't you move that cloud or make the seas surge...if they really are part of our True Body? Why can't you stop that volcano, or make it rain when the crops need it, or pull the plug on the those filthy politicos that keep wasting all our resources?
Well, for one thing, we haven't used out True Body much, and therefore we are not used to making it work. We are used to being lazy and programming ourselves with TV and taking pills to be stupid and letting our senses our senses be lulled, and this includes any sense of our True Body. We can reverse this trend by taking up a discipline and by throwing out the TV and the pills, and by refusing to engage in any type of programming that does not allow honest exchange.
What you must do is unbind your senses and look at your immediate body and excite your imagination and open yourself up to the idea of your True Body through a True discipline. You must use discipline to look at and analyze your immediate body until you know what it is, and so that you are not merely engaging in a scientific examination. You must open and expand your senses through a True Discipline until you step outside of your body, and thus experience the truth of your True Body.
If you are still unable to perspire the rain and wave the clouds at will, then you must understand that the True Body you are occupying is also being occupied by everybody else on the planet. Thus, to make your True Body move, you must make everybody else turn off their TVs and stop taking pills and let go of their unconscious and freezing hold on the True Body. You do this by helping them find a True Discipline that will take them beyond their immediate body and awaken them and take them.
