New or old to network marketing you need to identify what are the neccessary steps to take to be successful in the MLM industry. The formula is simple if you understand it and follow it. Here it is in five simple steps;
The conscious mind
If you don't see yourself succeeding with your MLM then you will fail. It's that simple. MLM is a tough road to follow and if you don't have the mindset to reach the end then you will be going home early. Get your sights set on success and then move forward.
It's an easy statement to make I know and with so many home based business gurus out there saying the same thing what do they mean?
I guess for each of us this is unique. What buttons I have to press to maintain a positive mindset and focus on success and not on failure could be the same or very different to yours but I have recognized and isolated mine in a way that allows me to battle with my demons and come out on top.
Randy Gage says this and confirms that even the leading home based business mentors carry their demons and have to work through them to reach success.
Attitude
This is very different from mindset. It is the thing that drives you on when others will fail or stay behind. This is what brings you home from a long day at work when building your first network marketing opportunity and takes you onto the laptop to build relationships across social networking sites when you could be relaxing by the fire.
Your attitude is what will carry your network marketing opportunity from door to door and from prospect to prospect until you start to see people joining your business and making the kind of money your efforst deserve.
Strategy
Any good business model is based on a clear strategy. In MLM the strategy is always one of growth but how this is achieved is the illusive part for many networkers. Weve all heard the figures quoted; less than 5% of network marketers actually make money in the industry. The other 95% end up with a very expensive hobby which they like to call a business. So, why is this so and what can you do to make sure you join the 5% and not the other 95%?
If you are serious about building your network marketing the right way from day one you need to treat it as though you had invested a serious amount of money into it and not a few hundred dollars. This is where a lot of network marketers fail and if you want to be successful you need to set goals and objectives as part of your home based business business plan.
Pplan ahead for the first few weeks, the first month and the end of the first year to set goals that you can follow to build your home based business opportunity.
Look at your budget and define what you can afford to spend on the business to take your network marketing opportunity forward. This is no free ride so get that out there to begin with.
What is your plan?
Plan your work and stick to the plan. Decide how many hours you have available each day and week to work on your business and commit those hours to building your network marketing business.
Write your action plan down on a poster or in a diary planner and make yourself accountable to it. If you are prepared to commit to a seven day week, working four to five hours every evening online, youll soon start to see the impact this will have on your network marketing business.
Don't sit still and believe you have all the knowledge and don't need to learn new skills. leave space and time each week to acquire new skills and space to teach these skills to your downline. Don't neglect those around you or they will leave you.

It's easy to think that you can just put a few things out there online and that you will see the rewards. This is simply not true, so get over it and get active. This is simple and yet the most powerful component of what you are doing.
