If you really wanted to, you could become the hero of your own story. You could step into what has always been calling you and be the man or woman you've always wanted to be.
You could inspire the world, teach lessons of what it means to challenge your fears and most importantly stand as a living representation for what is possible.
Beginning today, you can turn it all around. You can decide that you have had it with what you are going through and make the changes necessary to move on. That is how all great journeys begin. You really do have to reach a point where you know that enough is enough and there are some important changes to be made.
Heroes, I'm starting to become convinced (at least in real life), are made...not born.
They are the women and men who have built a grand vision, have the integrity and work ethic to perform jobs daily which will take them to the heights of worldly greatness, and to take a stand for what is right. These heroes are people who frequently see something that hasn't been made yet or no other person can see. They carry out their task with passion, care, and and stick true to who they are deep inside.
You can become the hero of your own story today.
You can continue to live in fear or you could be the type of person who decided that nothing was going to stop them and they were going to chase after everything they wanted in this life. That could be your new reality. Really, you could do that if you wanted to. The only thing stopping you from stepping into your greatness is you.
Your excuses will be the things that stop you from accomplishing your dreams.
How do you do all of this?
You have to believe in the whispers that tell you that things are possible. Because they are. Yes, many have to overcome massive challenges to be put into a position to see that day, but it's possible. Improbable to the onlooker, yes. But to you, it's possible.
Make the choice today to turn it all around. You can absolutely be your own hero. You can be a hero for yourself and you can be a hero for others. But you have to decide. If you never decide to step into that light, you will never see it.
