Defend Yourself With a Dog Chaser

By Steve Thibeault

While a dog can be man's best friend, to some it can be quite the opposite. Some of us have an inbuilt fear of dogs, which might take us back to our childhood and be something to do with an encounter during our early years. Either way, whenever we see a dog while out and about we can feel our hearts beat a little faster and become more apprehensive.

A dog normally likes to chase as this is just something which is built into their genes. Some dogs are aggressive by their very nature and its not always a good idea to run the other way. For some dogs, giving chase is inbuilt. In this case, you want to be able to chase the dog and should think about one of those ultrasonic devices that effectively turns you into the dog chaser and will deter all canines.

A dog chaser device is a very humane way to stave off the attentions of unwanted animals. Some time in our history, someone discovered that high-frequency sounds cause discomfort to animals but not humans. This led to the creation of these control devices, which in general will fend off an attack that could have graver consequences.

A dog chaser will work at distances of up to 20 feet, should you simply point the device at the animal and press the button. The dog has very superior hearing capabilities and will find the noise very annoying and disruptive, almost always choosing to run away to get rid of the noise in its head.

While we never like to think that we will come across a dangerous dog, it can happen at any times when we are out walking. Some owners may not be very sensitive about keeping the dogs under control, or on other occasions an animal may have jumped over a fence. Don't risk a confrontation and stand your ground by using the dog chaser repellent device.

If you happen to have an occupation that takes you into vulnerable positions, such as a postal delivery worker who needs to walk into somebody else's property, then you really should consider carrying a dog chaser repellent. The chances are that you will use this more than once!

You do not need to worry about any long-lasting effects to an animal through the use of a dog chaser. The animal will only sustain a temporary inconvenience, enabling you to protect yourself. Should you need to, you can use several short bursts of the ultrasonic signal.

Animal trainers have been known to use a dog chaser device to educate their pets. You should not use this randomly, but with a regimented program it could be of great value in teaching the animal what is wrong through an accompanying transmission.
