If you own a home chances are you have a garage. If you have a garage, it will have a door on it. Sometimes the door will act badly and not open or close as it should. Over years of use, garage door bolts can loosen. A first place to look for the issue is a loose bolt. The loose bolts can result from vibration or the door shrinking.
