Some Types Of Training For Building Muscles

By Margaret W. Wright

The purpose why many people are taking up weight training and body building is because they want to increase their strength and add to their muscle mass. Although this may be true, it is also important that you have to couple it with resistance training, good diet and rest to achieve this. By having all these factors together, you are sure that in no time your goal will be achieved.

Some people are not aware that there are actually three types of training programs that will allow a person to build a solid foundation of strength needed in increasing muscles.

First, there is the strength training. If you are a beginner, this is the best way to start your weight training that will help you increase a solid strength foundation and develop muscles.

You need to focus on developing your strength by doing core lifts like squats and bench press. It focuses on doing lower rep that is typically 1 to 5 per set. The moment you achieve this, you will be progressing in no time.

2) Hypertrophy Training. Interestingly, for the body to develop more muscles, it has to be put under stress through weight training. The more stress they are subjected to, the more muscle cells will develop. This is possible through Hypertrophy training.

Hypertrophy routine training is done by doing repetitions that ranges from 6 to 12 reps focusing more on compound and isolation exercises.

3) Endurance Training. Most people who want to increase their endurance would do 15 or more repetition using a much lower weight. This type of training is beneficial to athletes playing basketball, soccer and others.

These three types of training are important for you to build muscular body at the same time improving your strength and endurance.
