If you are planning to get your very own Exercise Bike, then it is unquestionably a smart idea to study the numerous types as there are literally hundreds to choose between. And it might indeed please you to understand that regardless of how you like to work out intensely or at a leisurely pace there is certainly a type of bike that will suit your desires and preferences. Read on to discover which exercise bike is the ideal match for you.

1. Upright Bikes

This is the oldest sort of bike and is designed very in a similar way to a conventional bike. It comes in a few varying styles and in a large range of prices. There are upright bikes you can fold up and store easily in your closet, and there are bigger computerized models. If you need to keep your workout routines interesting by injecting a bit of variety, then you must select one which has inbuilt pre-programmed courses.

2. Recumbent

Of all of the differing types, this is perhaps the most highly recommended by doctors to their patients. That is as it places you in a reclined position and has a backrest, which makes it lots more cosy than the upright variety. This kind is a very good choice for folk with knee and back Problems as it gives you a powerful workout without subjecting your back and knees to too much stress.

3. Dual-action

These are ideal for those that need to do rather more than just lower-body work-outs. They have moving handlebars, which means you will be working your arms even as you pedal. Take note, though, that many of these are upright, so if you have knee Problems, you may want to visit your doctor before getting this sort. Twin Action Recumbent models are very tough to find, but who knows, you may just get fortunate!

4. Interactive Bikes

These are designed specifically distract you from the workout itself so you do not feel as if you are working out at all! Some have built in TVs, while others have screens showing videos of sceneries from exact rides on a road bike to make your workout more realistic. If you get bored easily, then this should be your best choice among the different types but I'm hoping you've got large resources because they do not come cheap!
