When leaving the table for a while, it is advisable to place the napkin on side plate and not at the table or on the chair.

The arrangement of the cutlery is set based on the meal that is to be served. One should start with the ones at the far end and following order. This will help you not get confused on what you should use on the food that is being served. Use the side plate to put the unnecessary food item that you do not need and the bones.
