Living In A World Trying To Make You Into Everyone Else

By Evan Sanders

When we stay true to ourselves and who we are as people, there's hardly any amount of criticism in the world that can tear us down from our destiny.

Imminent disaster is only apparent when a woman or man builds himself on the compliments or falls on the criticisms of others. When this happens, their character is created by the thoughts and opinions of those around them instead of deep belief and will.

To truly be yourself in this world you have to develop some thick skin.

The wolves and the jokers line the landscape of this world. They will either tear you apart or trick you into believing something that's not really there. They will feed upon you or feed you with energy that you do not need. Don't let these two characters trick you into thinking that you can build your own character around them. Because once you do, they will be gone in a heartbeat and you will be left with no foundation.

So what's the solution?

We have got to trust in ourselves.

While this is undoubtedly one of the toughest things we have to work on it's also one of the most beneficial lessons you can ever learn in life. No matter what, when the problems and praise come, can still maintain who you are. The temptations of life will attempt to make you change who you are into what the world wants you to be. Don't. Be uniquely you always.

Change for yourself. Change because you want to. Change because it's something that really matters to you and deeply resonates with your purpose in life. If you aren't where you want to be right now then decide to take a leap into the world of personal growth, but never forget to do it for yourself.

When you change for yourself and you live a life on your own terms, you always can look back and say that you actually lived. You lived as the man or woman who was the captain of their own ship. That's someone on a mission. That's someone who could change the world.

So start believing in yourself. You never know what you are capable of until you really go for it.
