Counselors usually focus on drug resistance, general social skills, conflict resolution and how to deal with peer pressure. There are several activities that participants also engage in to enhance their interest. Such programs are recognized nationally as important and get regular funding.

There are ongoing plans to develop solutions that will be beneficial to the community in the long run. These plans are mainly centered on the feedback received from participants or annual communal meetings. There are several community based research organizations that operate in the area and give crucial findings to the authorities.
