A Hypnosis Healing Story - Amazing!

By Debbie Jones

The majority think about hypnosis or hypnotherapy for things like smoking suspension or weight control.

This year for New Years' he got a new knee (New Year...New Knee is our motto). Because we knew this operation was scheduled, we began preparing him for his procedure with regular hypnosis practice. He learned self-hypnosis and practiced daily. We also did sessions to begin his healing before the procedure was even performed. By the time of his procedure, he was prepared, confident, relaxed, comfortable and downright excited.

He learned self-hypnosis and practiced daily. We also did sessions to start his healing before the process was even performed. When of his process, he was prepared, assured, relaxed, snug and downright excited.

I drove so that he could enter self hypnosis as quickly as we were in the vehicle and remain in it from this point on. At the surgery, the intake nurse was astounded by how calm he was and how steady his vitals were ; particularly since he faced such an enormous process. Across the prep time his vitals stayed steady. While they placed the femoral catheter, he stayed extraordinarily in hypnosis and his heart beat rate sundry just a couple of points.

When the nurse was done, she questioned if I did hypnosis fairly frequently. She was extraordinarily pleased at how he stayed extremely relaxed and chilled and snug in the process. I later discovered that she had even discussed the hypnosis to the surgeon. The surgery went superbly. Within a few minutes of being moved to his room, the physical consultant came in and had him on the CPM machine to keep his knee moving. The specialist was astounded that she could set it for ninety degrees of flexion his first time on the machine. More self hypnosis for flexibleness and healing. Later that afternoon, the nurse checked the quantity of blood being picked up from his knee. She discussed that if enough blood were lost, a transfusion would be required. Well, we did not want that, so more hypnosis with precise directions for the comatose mind to find any arteries that were dribbling and turn them off.

The home-care physical specialist came to judge him and start him on a new series of exercises ( homework ). The specialist was impressed at the range of motion Eric had in his leg and he was capable of doing all the exercises the specialist gave him. Today, we are going to be going outside ( between soccer games ) for some walks in the sun.

Make no mistake. We were very choosy with the surgeon we selected. He has got a great name for getting his patients back on their feet extremely quickly. The surgeon's ability was patently a big element in Eric's excellent recovery. Nonetheless the surgeon's ability doesn't impact the imperative signals of the patient before entering the infirmary, during the position of catheters, the capability of the patient to switch off leaky veins on command after the process is complete, or the capability of the individual patient to control his very own blood stress on command.

Here is where hypnosis does such a good job of complimenting the area of medicine. Each reaction in your body starts in your consciousness. Your intellect controls your body utterly. You control your wits. you CAN control your body! Hypnosis is the tool. Whether you use self hypnosis or a hypnosis pro, use hypnosis!
