The first matter is studying the previous performance of the particular company. You cannot create a document on the steps the company should take without looking at the steps the company had taken previously and how it performed after taking those steps. If there are some steps which made the company to incur some losses, then there is a need to avoid including those steps in the new plan.

It is also good idea to look at the various business growth plans for other companies offering the same services or goods as those offered by your company. You can also look at other companies which are not in the same field as your company and derive some ideas from them. It is not advisable to company their ideas because there are several factors which made them to come up with those ideas. It is therefore import to use their ideas to develop your own strategies which is relevant to your company.

Looking at the growth plans of other company is also a good thing to do. You can borrow some ideas from those plans then develop on them in a way that they become relevant to your company. It is important to note that it is not advisable for one to copy the ideas of other as it is on their plans.

Expansion opportunity available for your company is another important factor to look into. This is because the company grows through expansion. Some of the expansion opportunities to look out for may include opening other branches in new areas where the market is still new. You can also look at the various marketing strategy which will enable you to increase the customer base for the company.

It is therefore necessary to consider their efficiency and their ability to implement the strategies developed. You cannot come up with a strategy which the employees do not have the ability to implement. If the strategy must be included in the plan, then you must consider hiring someone with the ability to implement it. The adaptability of the employees to the new strategies should also be assessed as well.

It is also a good idea to assess the current employees of the company. The purpose of the assessment is to determine the efficiency and the ability of the employees to implement the business growth plan. The plans must focus on the availability of human resource to implement them.

Taking in to consideration that there is continuous development of technology, it is important to also asses the technology of the company. The lack of upgraded technology to match the current development may be a cause of poor performance of the company. The assessment of the technology is therefore important to determine whether there is any need for upgrading on the available ones.
