By Sonya Riley

There will be many teachings that may be obtained from a Shackleton leadership program. These may be very important for the future leaders for them to be very effective in their leadership skills. The teachings that they will learn can be easily applied in their daily life experiences.

The leaders will be expected to direct their people properly. They will have to consider many things and factors for them to successfully make the subject follow them. Whenever they will be in these circumstances, they will have to look over the majority and be sure that they can be safe, protected and secured all the time.

Moreover, their tactics must be very flexible as well. Nowadays, all people may be living in a very dynamic world that some things would keep on changing. Because of such, they must cope with these changes to exercise authority properly. When the change would be beneficial to a person that you would be leading, it is essential to think on some options.

It is essential that all leaders would select their members carefully. Before they will give out their orders, they must ensure that the person would be very competent to carry out a certain task. They must get some members that possess positive attitude. When there would be some mistakes, the blame would be passed to the leader.

Whenever there will be difficulties, it is important that they have to stay optimistic. They will be giving hope to the people so that they will not be worried. Furthermore, they have to update all of his men about the changes that may be happening and give out some directions for them to go on smoothly.

The tasks of these people may have great importance since they will have to boost the morality of the individuals they are directing. They are also advised to live a rightful life by being a good example to all the members. They are often characterized as hard working for them to achieve better accomplishments throughout their endeavor.

Additionally, they must treat every member equally or fairly. Still, the group must follow some standards or rules. If a person would commit any mistake, he would be punished in such a way that is similar to the treatment for others.

It will be better to give out warnings to the subjects whenever they will commit some mistakes. In the second time of repeating the same mistake, they have to be liable for the punishments that will be given. They have to do this to practice authority and position that they hold in a society. By doing this, everybody will ensure that authority is effectively practiced.

Typically, a leader must be very realistic to his subject. Even if optimism is better, it must be achievable or realistic. Because of such, the groups would believe in them easily. There would be some lessons that might be learned from this Shackleton leadership program. Still, it is essential that they would not abuse the power or authority that is vested on them so that nobody would be afraid of them.
