Being able to appreciate the effort, hard work and dedication of those that are close to you whether in business or in your personal life will help you gain respect.

Leadership is crucial to the success of any business or company. If you teach good business practices to those who work with you or for you the success of your company will be unstoppable. Honesty and consideration for your customers or even friends and family will automatically make you a better leader.

Always tell others how much they, and their work, mean to you. It only takes a moment to write a short thank-you, or "good job" note, and it can mean a lot to someone who is working hard all day. Giving someone this kind of acknowledgment is going to lift moods and it doesn't cost you anything to do and most importantly people will respect and admire you as a result.

Tenacity is easily among the more critical leadership traits. When things go awry, your subordinates will expect you to set the tone. You must remain focused on the end result at all times. If you stay motivated, so will the rest of your team. You have now been given some advice as to what should be done in order to become a better leader. Working toward being a great leader will help those around you, as well. It is time to take up your position as a leader in the business world. Use the suggestions given above so you can learn how to become an effective leader with an effective leadership plan.
