In turn footing might cause a stampede.

It is important to prevent animal and human conflict along the shores. Therefore, both animals and plant life along shores should be gotten rid of. Plants might choke swimmers thus leading to death. Some animals have stings which are fatal. All the same, make sure that swimmers who go into deep sea have the ability to do so.

It is normal for persons to get trapped in sea currents. One is advised to stay calm till the current settles. Do not oppose it since it may result to injuries in the long run. Swim parallel to the current and if not, stay afloat on the water till it settles. One may have been moved away but swim towards the shore when calm returns.

Those that have been trapped in water, seek assistance from experienced swimmers or life guards. If both are not present, it is advisable to call the emergency. They ought to help in such dangers.
