The area must be thoroughly cleaned. The surrounding of these containers must be cleaned, as part of the commercial and social ethics that you are following. With cleaning, it should be easy for you to get rid of those hazards that are surrounding the containers. This can then prevent people from getting hurt.

Do not forget to use protective gear when handling the garbage. It does not matter if you are handling residential or commercial waste, wearing protective gear is to ensure your safety. When it comes to the protective gear, the least amount should be a pair of gloves. It can prevent you from getting contaminated, injured, or infected.

Remember that the container is a no smoking zone. This is so that you can avoid fire. You should make sure that no one smokes near the said container, especially if you are unsure if there are flammable waste in there. Even just the cigarette butt, when carelessly thrown away here, can cause great fires.

The containers must always be in proper form. This just means that there should be no damages or distortions on it. You have to ensure that your service provider gives you containers that do not have broken hinges, rusted parts, and loose doors. The paint work should be properly done, together with cautionary labels and signs.

Get the kids to stay away from the said area. They should not be playing around the containers. No matter how adventurous their spirits are, the danger that they will face when playing around the said containers is great. You have to keep them away. Keep them informed about the danger as well.
