Let Go Of Who You Think You Should Be

By Evan Sanders

Let go of what you think you have to become.

When you actually let go of what you think should happen, you open up a world full of possibilities. Doors open for you because you aren't trying to analyze the future to the shallowness of your mind. This world we live in will do everything it possibly can to try to make you into everyone else. This is the greatest fight you will ever be a part of and the goal is to remain true to yourself no matter what.

Forget all of that.

Be an outlier. Is that hard? Of course. But the path and journey are completely worth it. What you can expect however is that there will be a significant amount of criticism, commentary, and concern about what you are doing with your life. If you understand that being under the microscope is part of chasing your dreams then you will be more than ready to face all of the heat.

You have to be willing to risk.

As you chase your dreams you are going to be challenged in every single way imaginable. You're going to face fear, doubt, worry, and every other negative emotion in the book. But as much as you will have your losses, you will also have your wins. You will experience grand victories when you refuse to give up no matter how much the pressure builds up on you.

Dreams can save your life. Dreams can help you become something you've never been before and take you out of the mud completely. Dreams have the ability to not only ignite your heart but incite the hearts of everyone around you as well. If you're willing to chase your dreams and suffer through the constant obstacles that come your way, there's nothing you can't accomplish in this world.

Don't worry about being different or what other people think about you. In the end, none of that stuff matters anyways. Instead, focus on who you are and what you want to give to the world. If you know the reasons why you are doing it and it's for a good purpose then do it. Don't let anyone's opinion of you define your life.

Of course it might not work out, but what if it really does? What if everything you've ever dreamed of comes true? Wouldn't that just be incredible?
