Attending Services In Tempe Liberal Church

By David Burns

A Christian should form a habit of attending fellowships and being active in a church. In this regards, Tempe Liberal Church is a place believers can grow spiritually within the context of the word of God.

The further we look into the things that we can see we turn to realize that nothing surpasses our intelligence. The next step is to look into things that we cannot see. One thing does exist that we know off that we can't see and it is the spirit. Whether we choose to accept this or not we know it exist as we know numbers exist, love exists and hatred and jealousy exist.

As ingenious a race as human beings can be compared to any other living thing in our world we are all willing to accept the word of mouth that our family, friends, doctors, who they say they are yet ever so often they are wrong about one thing or the other. In the end we accept their excuses and say that they are human. To strengthen our faith in this people we look at ourselves and say we also make mistakes so no one is perfect.

It is not the sun because we know for certain that we receive no love from the sun. You can spend a decade asking the sun for money or a wonderful life but without going to work we would get nothing. The same applies to all the things we can see. Nothing comes from them because they are objects. However something always comes from us when we give love, anger and hatred. There is a reaction, a change in things around us.

The world might try and come against you as you live out whatever it was that you and God planned to do together, but because you have developed this program in faith you have the power of God to protect you as you move through it in actual living. The perfection of God's love will always succeed-and God's mustard seed is a seed of the Father's perfect love.

None of us may have seen God, none of us may know who God is, none of us may even have read scripture for that matter yet another part of us is always seeking for shelter elsewhere from our own people who we know beyond a shadow of doubt would let us down. The point here is whether we choose to believe in God or not, we all believe in something that isn't human.

If we have come this far in recognizing that we can believe in anything other than ourselves then we can start making a case for believing in God. Choosing to believe in anything other than ourselves means we are finally looking outside the box. The question now is whatever we choose to believe in has to also reward us in one form or the other. It has to be invincible, smarter than us and cannot be our creation because we could easily destroy it.

With the Holy Spirit he makes us into the sail of a boat and he blows into us-whoosh!-and moves us, and we are moved by the Holy Spirit and the gifting of the Holy Spirit are moved in us. When God does this we become foot washers, servants, movers and shakers in the kingdom of heaven. You change things, and we change them by God's power.
