A Lucid Dream Walk Through To Explore Your Dreams

By Patrick Cook

You'll definitely want to remember that this is something that is completely different from just controlling your dreams. When you are controlling everything that is going on and focusing just on that aspect, you can surely have a fantastic time living out your wildest dreams, going to your favorite fictional words, and basically doing anything else you want. Those who are looking for a lucid dream walk through are going to find something a little bit different in that they will be learning how to become aware of what is happening so that they can observe and explore rather than control.

Many people don't wear watches anymore, but if you are someone who does, there is a simple thing that you can do in order to build up a practice that will enable you to become aware of the fact that you are dreaming even though you are still asleep. All that you have to do is look at your watch once in a while, and after you have seen what time it is, look away for a moment, and then look again. If you are in a dream, you will probably notice that the numbers just don't look right or they have suddenly changed, and this can help you become lucid.

Asking yourself if you are actually dreaming while you are going throughout your day is a mental habit that can be built up to your great advantage if you want to have more awareness in your dreams. By doing this regularly, you will eventually get your mind to naturally ask yourself the same question while you are actually in your dreams. Once your mind realizes the answer to that question, the opportunities are practically boundless.

If you have never kept a dream diary or journal, it is always a great time to start. That way, you will be able to see clearly what is going on while you are sleeping. When you see it all in writing, it makes you more prone to recognize that you are dreaming the next time you go to sleep.

Many people try to experience wake-initiated lucidity in their dreaming, but few are actually able to achieve it. This is because it requires a very high level of control over your own mind. Otherwise, you couldn't possibly hope to relax enough to enter your dreams without falling asleep first.

The most common way for a person to enter this state is for it to happen when you're in the middle of dreaming. These dreams probably won't be any different than your normal ones until the lucidity happens. It might occur for a variety of reasons, and many people experience it by chance the first time.

Something you can do every night before bed is tell yourself that you will lucid dream. This does not just mean saying it in your head. It means saying it out loud so you can actually hear it in your own voice and feel yourself saying it.

Many people forget about just how complex their own hands are. If you stare at them for a while, it will help you keep that in mind. It will also help you remember to do it while your dreaming, which definitely helps you become aware of what's happening. The longer you look at them, the more tiny details you'll be able to pick out, and you might know your own hands better than you might realize.
