What Makes Stage Hypnosis Powerful?

By Marcus Cruz

Did you know that most clinical hypnotist do not approve of stage hypnosis?

It's true, and part of the reason why this is true is because stage hypnosis doesn't do one bit of good outside of the concept of entertainment...and is stage hypnosis really real? I mean does is it even an authentic form of hypnosis or are there just a bunch of pre-selected actors that are out there waiting to be called on stage by the stage hypnotist?

Anyway, whether or not Stage Hypnosis is real is only the tip of the ice-berg, because every time you watch a stage hypnosis show, you will notice that a bunch of volunteers are the ones who are hypnotized. So, the process of Stage Hypnosis is a voluntary process.

So, if Stage Hypnosis is a voluntary process, then it is impossible for stage hypnosis to have anything to do with persuasion, seduction, or mind control, because mind control does not involve people volunteering to have their minds controlled!

This means that you couldn't use stage hypnosis to persuade your boss to give you a raise or to get someone of the opposite sex to become attracted to you through the use of stage hypnosis. Why? Because you can't expect people to "volunteer" for those types of things. The Art of Persuasion is far deeper than hoping that someone will volunteer to do your will.

OK so let's ask a million dollar question: How is it that Stage Hypnotist are out there promising you the secrets of mind control through their so called "secrets". Let's ask an even better question: Why do people believe these lies?

The basic answer to these questions revolve around the reputation that Stage Hypnosis has built up for itself in books and movies. Keep in mind that stage hypnosis is only a show...it's just a form of entertainment, and because it's a form of entertainment that we've all seen in movies, it can project a false reality of what it truly is.

Anyway, after the show is over, it's time to return to reality.
