Great Place to Train Muay Thai in US

A person can take away many things from studying martial arts. Strength, agility, confidence, and self defense are just to name a few. While there are plenty of Karate, Taekwondo, and Jui-Jitsu dojo's in the area, North Jersey Muay Thai (NJMT) located in Lodi, NJ is one of the only Muay Thai training centers in the area.

Muay Thai is a martial art originating from Thailand and is very commonly used by Mixed Martial Art fighters. The art of Muay Thai uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees to attack. NJMT can instruct students of all levels. Muay Thai is one of the more difficult martial arts and NJMT will be there to guide you and help you reach your goals. All of the instructors have trained or fought in Thailand, so you can be assured that your training is genuine to a true Muay Thai style.

This gym not only teaches Muay Thai techniques but can also provide you with a full training experience. They have a fully equipped gym with treadmills, bags, dumbbells/barbells, resistance bands, kickpads, and much more. This gym will also impress you with private changing rooms, showers, and their massage therapy room.

There are three different classes offered at NJMT. Muay Thai Fundamentals which is recommended for anyone new to Muay Thai as well as seasoned members. This class teaches and reinforces proper form of kicks, punches, knees, and elbows. Muay Thai Fundamentals is held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm. Youth classes are also offered. They are for kids 8-16 years of age. Youth classes are conducted on Tuesday and Thursday from 5:15-6:00pm and on Saturdays at 11:00-11:45am. The third class offered at NJMT is there adult Open class for students of all levels. This class can be attended on Monday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 7:00-8:15pm and Saturday from either 9:00-10:30 am or 12-1:30 pm.

In addition to the regular class schedule, NJMT also offers fitness evaluations, personal training sessions, and they even do birthday parties. At NJMT there is no sign up fee, you pay for just the classes and choose the type of contract that suits you. They are currently offering a free week trial for you to experience the one of a kind training they will provide to you.
