Few would disagree that making a significant difference in anything needs focus, commitment, and dedication to whatever you are working toward. Your personal presenceâ" how you show up each dayâ" makes a big difference. It matters how you approach things and the viewpoints you bring. It matters whether you behave instinctually, letting a larger potential steer you in service of something bigger, or you're employed in service of your own private interests. It counts whether you basically target getting a fast result or you look towards transformation and a long term view.It matters where and how you decide to spend your energy, and how you're employed in tandem with others towards a shared purpose.
There are often many things that you could do and many roles that you could play to get a job done. But if you are going to do transformational work, it is vital that you are clear about what is really yours to do and what's not yours to do. Far more urgent is recognizing who you must be so as to do what's yours to do. Absence of clarity here can drain you of energy fast. However , when you focus on what wants to happen and let go of all else, a wave of energy customarily swells up to support you. Synergy and synchronicity become active. Things start happening. You serve as a valet for the larger potential desiring to unfold, and as it does, you follow its steering for each next step.
Nevertheless even when you are riding a massive wave of energy, harnessing that energy as it moves through you can require tremendous focus and concentration. That focus and concentration still taps your personal energy resources. So how does one ensure you will have the private energy you need in order to serve in the most efficient and transformational ways?
This is a challenge for many folks committed to leadership and service. We cherish what we do and are so committed to our work that "down time" keeps getting put off for later on. Yet if we are going to serve over the long term, we must not only be focused, clear, and committed to our work, we must also be definite about what feeds and nurtures our own energy and spirit. And we want to understand how to fill ourselves back up again in short periods of time since frequently that's all we have. Without regard for how much we adore what we do, it's vital that we pause to fill ourselves back up regularly, preferably before our tank is depleted.
So what's the thing that refills your energy tank?? Maybe it's a walk in nature or time with your kids or pets. Maybe it is a particular kind of music or art. Perhaps it is meditation, yoga, or massage, or maybe it is jogging, tennis, or basketball. Maybe you have to be around certain categories of people, or perhaps you need a bit of time alone. Perhaps there are certain categories of environments that feed your spirit. Everyone's desires are different.
For me, it is unstructured time in the peacefulness of my home and its surrounding nature that replenishes me. And when I am working away from home, it's time alone in nature or in beautiful environment. During workshops and trainings, I am going to breakfast early before others will be there in order That I can enjoy my morning tea and breakfast in stillness, hopefully looking out into nature. Without reference to where I am and what I'm doing, I also ensure that I take time for morning meditation, regardless of whether just for 1 or 2 minutes. That is where I anchor in Consciousness and intuitive awareness for the day.
Be certain about what you need to live, lead, and serve at your best, and then build that into your life on a regular basis. Find the balance between working and replenishing that supports you to live into your greatest potential. The world wants all you have on offer. the world needs for you to do whatever you have got to do to be at your best.
Restore and refuel. It's not a luxury. It's crucial to living your best life.
