The communication to God is the best thing to do as a Christian living in this end times. However long it may take to receive the reply form Him, we are encouraged that our communication with Him will never go answered. The a dialogue with God represent the situation in life when we as Christians are able pass our requests to Him and He gives the answer either verbally or through action.
In the past most Christians used to communicate to Him verbally, where they talk to Him as they receive the feedback immediately. Though some took a longer time to be answered but the most important thing is that all the prayers and messages sent to Him were answered in a timely manner and comprehensively.
When we look at that point of time in memory, we are able to realize that this was one of the hardest things to do, leaving ones people, country and the society where he was actually raised up to go to a foreign land was very difficult task to do. But we are able to see him leave and walk towards the direction where he was told to.
We are also able to see Him talk to Abraham, Jacob, and also Moses, the first savior of the Israelites. At the time of Moses, God was not able to speak directly to the people directly. May be because of the filthy nature to which the Israelites presented their bodies before Him.
There are so many instances where God communicated with the people directly through the word of mouth. The prophets were the most important vessels that He used to pass His message to His people. In Old Testament we see the different prophets in Israel give instructions and warnings from God as well acting as His agents to bless those who were righteous.
The Christians can easily talk to God through prayers and that is depicted on the type of prayer which Jesus taught His disciples. They are to humble themselves towards because it is only through the humble prayers we offer to God that can be able to receive a reply form.
From the other part, we are able to understand the expectations of God through just reading the Bible while being guided by the Holy Spirits and so it is actually very important that we offer a brief prayer to God when we want to read the Bible to enable us understand the Bible teachings more efficiently and elaborately.
Without proper guidance from the Holy Spirits, we are bound to receiving nothing from this Holy book. And this explains why most people have the bible and they read it always but they are not able to understand the content of the Bible. This has made them do the opposite actions which are contrary to the teachings of the Bible.
This is to enable Him pass His message to the few elect who may want to know more about his words. A dialogue with God therefore has gone through revolutions and changes from the ancient time to the modern time taking different format
