Lessons About Brass Machine Screws And Its Lectures About Life

By Bernadette Martin

We all now experience an easy life. We use a furniture in the house and everywhere we go. All of us also have our stuffs like air conditioners, computers, cell phone, light switches and many more. But, little do we notice those tiny screws that make it all whole. We overlooked the difference it made on our things.

These are so useful. They have a lot of uses. It is fascinating how brass machine screws can make a lot of difference and significance to machines. A machine will not work well when it lacks this. It is purposely made. It is known to bind materials like metal to the other piece making it whole. It has a staircase like portion known as the threads of it. The part where they are attached is what we call the stove bolt.

It has many styles. Their top portion is called their heads. It has many types. These are the flat, round, headless, Fillister and overhead screws. There are more of it in many shapes like designs like the socket set, lag, flat pointed, cup pointed, and cone pointed. And there are the latest innovations of these that include the cap, hexagon, button and Phillips head.

It may have many different types but they have a common purpose. It is a mechanical device that is able to convert the torque on the helical inclined planes of the surfaces into a linear force. It is very easy to use and it is also effective.

Archimedes, the original inventor of the screw, made it to become a part of the deep well. He made it to make it accessible for people to get water easily. As years go by, there are later discoveries like the cutting device which Jacques Besson created. Then, was perfected by Jesse Ramsden. In the later year, David Wilkinson decided to improve it even more. There are a lot of transitions in this tiny thing. In the years after the Civil War, Christopher Walker has thought and created the automatic lathe.

However, the first largest screw ever made was in nineteen sixty seven, which was manufactured in Scotland is measured as big as twenty four feet and four feet purely made of iridium. It was later used to connect oil tankers.

All of it somehow has a common goal, to hold stronger than a nail. It usually has five times more strength. It is more effective and efficient in making the material more durable. It also makes it simpler for anyone to use.

If we are like screws, we could have been five times stronger than any other. It only requires us the same pressure, struggle and the right fit to make us more efficient. With the right percentage of pressures and challenges in life, we can be molded into someone better than yesterday.

No matter how many times our Creator may have twisted and turned us through the storms in life, we must be constantly reminded that like a screw, we are made strong with pressure and pain to fit just right in. Most of us are pushed forcefully like it that has caused us to meet the best of our potentials. Just like it, hold on and allow the motion to fulfill your true purpose.
