How I Teach People How To Take Enemies Down

By Willm V Yotabba

Being a self-defense teacher, my job is to educate people how to defend themselves. I usually train my students in the proper and effective use of different security tools, particularly individuals who are disabled or not physically powerful to curb attackers.

I do not just show my class how and where to buy a Taser gun, for instance, but how to utilize it as well. I teach things like just how to handle a Taser in combat and keep it properly, and how to maximize its potential for providing personal protection.

A Taser is a non-lethal self-defense tool that gives both long-range and also close-quarter defense. It uses a cartridge of pressurized nitrogen to fire 2 probes linked to 15-foot wires at a target.

The gadget will then send a powerful electric current down those wires, through the probes and into the target, making them unable to move. Its electro-muscular disruption technology overrides muscular impulses as well as causes the target to fall over in pain.

The probes do not need to be shot from this stun gun and are effective even when still connected to the unit, giving you the ability to protect yourself at close range. All the effects are temporary. They last only a few minutes and cause no permanent injury to somebody.

I have used several different types in my training classes. Among these is the Taser X26C. It's a high-end model that includes a screen showing battery power usage and can calculate the remaining battery life.

For law enforcement, I have used the Taser M26C. It's a variation on another model of theirs, the Advanced Taser M26, which is designed particularly for police work. Unsurprisingly, it features a pistol-like grip.

Lastly, I train private individuals how to use the Taser C2, a smaller type which was intended for personal protection. Finally, just as important as knowing where to buy a Taser gun legitimately is knowing how to utilize one after you have bought and registered it.
