How much is one gentle remark worth to someone who's embroiled in problems? While extending a kind remark is not going to cost one cent, it may be only the thing that other individual needs to up lift their day. I guess the question you can inquire yourself is, "Are you "others focused" or does everything in your day rotate around you? Just recognizing someone or making some kind remark towards them could possibly be the switch that brightens up their day.
Everybody has the need to be credited and regarded and some individuals truly start to flourish whenever that occurs. The book of Proverbs shows us that kind words are like honey, sweet to the soul and healthy for the body. That is why it is really essential that we say kind words and we express them often. We really often love to listen to those kind remarks aimed our way as well. That same book of Proverbs has an additional widely known saying, " Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. " (Proverbs 18:21) Whatever we say and how we say it is very crucial. It can build some up or it could ruin another person.
We all live in a world that is made upon discord and full of individuals that are just out to get other people. This is so simply because this is the unregenerate root which is in all of us. However, those individuals who take time to continually look for the good in others by offering a kind word can receive intrinsic rewards just by brightening somebody else's day.
