"The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt." Sylvia Plath
When we start to significantly doubt ourselves, our complete world begins to fall apart. That's a pretty bold statement, but if we truly dive into the after-effects of what happens when doubt crawls into our lives, it actually does happen. We can even take it a step farther in regards to chasing dreams. Since the playing field is even more competitive, and doubt comes into our minds, that's when it actually does spoil everything or seems to put a complete stop to everything we've ever wanted in this life.
You see, dreams demand everything from you. They demand your full attention, work ethos, keenness, integrity, and eagerness to sacrifice a good deal to gain them. But when you start doubting your dream and what you're doing in life, you aren't giving it your all.
When you come across somebody talking of a dream, there's this sense you get from them that they know something is going to really happen notwithstanding huge amounts of doubt surrounding all of it. There's a built-in sense of belief that roots itself so very deeply in that person that they can't probably be beaten. That's true deep faith.
But when you overhear someone who is talking about their passions, and you get the sense that they are slightly on edge about it all, you can be pretty sure that they will really never achieve what they set out to do. It's not that you are rooting against them, but it's that you know dreams take everything and giving it less than that, well, it just won't work out at all. So pour yourself into what you love and let doubt disappear from your mind. Others may say it's not practicable but the inconceivable has been achieved many many times throughout history.
Give it a try. Anything could happen.
