Avoiding Dermatitis - Guidelines On Correct Facial Care

By Wesley Berk

As the saying goes, anything too much is not good, while taking time is a virtue. These principles perfectly apply even to facial care. Studies show that there are a lot of cases of improper facial cleaning that lead to unhealthy conditions, both for men and women.

When we look awkwardly flushing and we feel like scratching our face all the time, then we may be experiencing from what is commonly known as "dermatitis".

We can get away with skin inflammation in just a matter of days or weeks, especially if we know its cause. This is quite good news. However, for chronic cases of skin problems like eczema, the healing time is much longer. A chemical element called sodium laurel sulfate is said to be the culprit of these severe conditions and often found in facial cleansers sold in stores.

Getting your skin inflamed is still not something you would like to have so often. Having it constantly can cause your neckline to sag or even build cancerous cells.

We all have different types of skins. And a lot of facial products are available in the market suiting each type that we have. Even a gentle cleanser won't promise smoothness of skin in the long run.

You don't have to spend too much money just to get a facial cleanser that will perfectly work for you. You can actually make your own at the comforts of your home. Just check your kitchen and cabinets. Mix olive oil to warm water and apply it gently to your face using a smooth cloth.

Exfoliating is advisable to be done monthly. There are exfoliants sold in the market but using oatmeal or sea salt can be effective methods of opening the pores, too.

After a month or even two, radiance of the skin can already be achieved with the right process of using oatmeal and sea salt.
