Beauty As An Invaluable Gift For Women

By Jason Maxwell

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But I'm pretty sure that there are some universal truths when it comes to beauty, such as considering Cindy Crawford as having one of the most striking faces on the planet, or that the more appealing a face and body is, the easier it is to be infatuated with the person. Most men in fact, choose pretty girlfriends and brides even if these girls do not rank very high in the intelligence department.

Harsh as this may sound, we are all partial to a pretty face. Although this is very unfair to those who are not born with the right looks, the whole of society operates much in the same way.

It is no surprise therefore that women will do absolutely anything to be considered beautiful within the standards set upon by the rest of the world. This is particularly true when one already wants to find her lifetime partner and get married.

To achieve their goals of having wedding rings on their fingers, women shrewdly add a sense of fashion, the right diet, sensuality and impeccable hair and make-up to their persona.

Sadly, many will subject their bodies to painful, invasive procedures in order to achieve a flawless face and sexy body. The world can be cruel in terms of promulgating beauty as having big breasts, a round butt, a slim waist and being a size 0 or 2. Due to pressure and esteem issues, many women will go to great lengths to be just like this, thinking that men only adore them for their external qualities. We must never forget however, that outside beauty can fade, but the inner character of a person is eternal and is what truly matters.

Besides, there have been thousands of cases wherein these invasive procedures produce distorted results, such as burning and scarring of skin. Unfortunately, even death may occur from it, leading people to really question themselves if exterior beauty is all we ever search for.

Still, on the wedding day itself, a luxurious bridal gown and the most solemn ceremony would complete this picture perfect moment.

Brides and grooms should celebrate their wedding day in bliss, in the full knowledge that it is true love that makes their relationship go work, and not superficial feelings of infatuation based on facial and body appeal.
