Accessing Akashic Records Using Meditation Or Self Hypnosis

By Paul Robertson

As a starting point with finding out about accessing akashic records it is initially a good idea to learn just what these are and where they reside. There are a lot of individuals that do not believe in akashic records or akasha because they just do not understand or know much about them.

In the ancient language known as Sanskrit the word akasha means space. When you unite the word akasha with our modern word records, we realise that akashic records means warehousing of information in some concealed unearthly location. A definition that may be more accessible is that somewhere in a dimension beyond the physical universe lies an infinite storage of information.

The akashic records are founded upon the 5 ancient elements of air, wind, water, fire and earth. These five elements or principles correspond to the five human senses. The five principles are what guide the recordings and make accessing the akasha possible.

Akasha refers to a space found deep in a non-physical plane of existence, or in simpler more layperson terms in a region of the cosmos where no physical being has been, or ever will be. The akashic plane is a repository for each soul's journey and experiences. Every conceivable piece of data is held there, from the past, present and future. The akashic plane has been described, amongst other things, as the Cosmic Mind or Universal Mind.

The material can be accessed through the subconscious mind either through dreams or deep meditation. In the past it was believed that only such people as psychics could get access to the records. Nonetheless, contrary to that opinion the simple truth of the matter is anybody can access their own akashic records.

We all tend to hide our best material deep inside our subconscious minds, but as stated before we can use any number of hypnotic or meditation methods to recall it. The key to successfully accessing the material is to have a clear mind and be relaxed.

Some people may try and tell you that the records don't exist. But don't get taken in by them, just proceed with your research and training and don't take any notice. In some respects our brains are just like a computer in terms of data gathering and warehousing. The only difference is that much of our information is stored in akasha and not on a computer chip or in our physical brains. It can be stored and retrieved at a later time just like the material on the chip.
