Loneliness is a undeniable fact and everyone at sometime must learn how to cope with loneliness. Well, that isn't deeply encouraging nor will it help me to deal with loneliness. It is a primary step. There is not any one on the face of this earth who has lived 1 or 2 years who hasn't dealt with loneliness, maybe quite often.
Loneliness can be fugitive; your partner is out of the town on a trip and you miss them. Maybe you are the one who is gone and you are by yourself in a motel room. If your wife is away at war, you not only face loneliness but you also battle stressing about the one that you love.
Some loneliness is far more permanent thanks to the death of a mate, parent, spouse or a kid. Loneliness can also come from a relationship split up or a divorce. Loneliness that has no timeline, no endpoint or future reunion, brings a permanency of your grief and hurt.
You may see yourself as a lonesome person not to the absence of a selected loved one, but as you spend the great majority of your hours alone. Perhaps you have no family or just a few kin, who you don't see much. You may lack friends and find yourself facing life totally alone. You can spend a lot more hours by yourself than you do with others, leaving you hankering to have somebody with whom to share the journeys of life.
Loneliness leads to anxiety, stress and even depression. Loneliness literally hurts. I heard it described once by a young girl as a physical discomfort in her chest from the grief of herhusband's death and the loneliness that took his place.
I have a best mate who lost his better half from cancer. After a visit he told me as I was leaving he had to work out the easy way to fill the rest of the day so he would not be forsaken.
Can someone be lonely with folks around? Yes; folk are not the answer to quietude. If it was simply being around others, individuals who live in big towns would never face isolation. Yes, people can take up some of our time but privacy runs much deeper. The answer for privacy is the same answer for plenty of our harms and agony in this life. A wonderful article on the way to cope with stress.
