Get More Tumblr Followers Easily

By Ariel Tumble

Tumblr is a micro-blogging community drive platform that has experienced an almost meteoric rise in popularity because of its simple to use interface and social community. Other blogging platforms may make the poster feel they are isolated or make it difficult to add music or videos and hence discourage interaction for some. To get more Tumblr followers is often as simple as saying hello to your neighbor and usually interesting.

Add to your followers, by liking everyone you see. Popularity, or as the microbloggers on Tumblr put it; Tumblarity is based upon liking others so they like you back. Fortunately, there is a lot to like on Tumblr for almost any taste, so liking or reposting is not as hard as it might seem.

An important rule to becoming popular on this or any other platform is to keep posting even during your busy times. Tumblr makes it super simple to post during exams, on holiday or when you are away simply by queuing up timed posts so that while you are on the beach far from your network, your posts keep rolling out on time. The quality of content though has an impact on how popular a person will actually be as well since few people are going to actually enjoy boring content. So don't post rubbish as it will not help bring in new followers.

This social networking blogging platform also has what is called a follow-me train which is normally begun by very popular micro-blogs. By joining these trains the new blog can increase their popularity quickly since if you like them, they are sure to like you back. A new blogger may not be able to successfully start one of these since no one would really hear about it, but if they follow one, they too will gain in popularity.

A personal photo, interesting quotes, and community participation are part of growing a following on Tumblr. This is a very personal type of interaction and photos help people feel they know who they are following. Videos are always popular because they feel more interactive than just posts .

Those who run the most interesting micro-blogs tend to be some of the most popular and they take time cultivating that popularity. They spend time scheduling posts, interacting with people who comment on their micro-blog and participating in the community. Social networking depends upon being social, getting to know people and getting yourself out there.

The internet features many everyday personalities who have gained recognition for their talents by using social networking sites to increase their popularity. Community driven media has become so accepted that references to popular social networks are found in advertising, newscasts, newspapers and even novels. Tumblr has boiled down community interaction concepts to their simplest and is on the way to becoming a media sensation among social networking fans.
