Disguised Pepper Spray - Surprise!

By Jim Wilkinson

There are many reasons you should consider carrying a canister of pepper spray. However, a canister of disguised pepper spray can be your best option. This is because it gives the attacker a bigger surprise, results in a better shot, looks like something else, and makes you feel more confident.

Pepper sprays come in many different types of containers that are disguises that look real. You can find pepper spray in many different containers like a tube of lipstick. This way you may appear to be grabbing at your lipstick but really give him a shot in the face instead. You can purchase pepper spray in the form of a pager with a side clasp on it. This will allow you to wear your pepper spray on your belt buckle or even put it on the visor in the car. This gives you quick and easy access to it without fumbling around in your purse or briefcase for it.

When a woman is using a tube of lipstick nobody pays attention. If she finds herself in a danger ous situation and pulls out her lipstick an attacker will hardly notice. What this surprise does is allow you to get a good shot of spray right into his eyes and face because he will not have raised his hands to block the shot from his face. When you are able to get a good dose of the spray right into his eyes and face your chances of escaping improve dramatically because he will be feeling the full effect of the self defense spray and be down and out for about thirty minutes. More than enough time to run to safety.

We don't like to think about it but violent crime occurs much to frequently in the US. According to statistics 3 serious violent crimes occur about every minute. Scary isn't it? Those nubers could be reduced with a self defense spray being used. Pepper spray is a low cost personal protection product that does the job. When caarying a small canister you gain confidence just by knowing you have it available to you.

A disguised canister of pepper spray provides you with the best chance of catching an attacker off guard and nailing him right in the face with it. Even so, if you buy a self defense spray you should practice using it before the need really arises. Practice getting it out because you don't want to waste time in an emergency by having to look around for it. Keep it handy. Also, practice activating it. If you have not practiced aiming it and flipping the activation lever you will waste precious seconds in a dangerous situation.

Any disguised personal protection product is an advantage. They allow you to keep them very handy and if someone sees it they will not feel alarmed. They also permit you to make sure the self defense weapon is there when you need it. This will allow you to get to him before he gets to you. You can then walk away without any injury and call the police.
