Video Security Camera Systems Are A Excellent Way To Keep an eye on Activity Near Your Private Home

By Willm L Yotabba

My job as a security consultant requires me to be up to date with the latest and greatest in surveillance systems. I have a client for whom I had worked as a bodyguard in the past. He wanted me to help him outfit his daughter's apartment with a security system that was effective and simple to operate.

I was his employee for a long time before I left for my consultancy job. So, he had loads of faith in my judgment in terms of security measures. I did not want to let him down and prepared several video security camera systems that I presented, so we could go over each one and pick out the one that he wanted.

The system that I spoke of the most was the 4 channel wired DVR system. A lot of other clients had tried this package and had nothing but good things to say about it. For this particular client, I stressed the importance of an easy-going system that will not break the bank. Even someone on a strict budget can afford top-notch security with this.

For me, it stands out from a crowd of other video security camera systems because of its embedded DVR. It can easily feed a live stream of whatever is happening in the location to a separate monitor via the Internet. The buyer even has the option to pick his or her own cameras.

I spoke to my former employer about the advantages of the 4 channel wired DVR system. With the dimensions of the space, I recommended that he utilize only 4 cameras. That number is enough to cover each nook and cranny without exception. With this new information, he refrained from browsing through the other video security camera systems.

After he purchased everything, I offered my help to install everything and lend my expertise to his family. Other video security camera systems would have taken twice as long as we did. We were able to get all the cameras, cables, the mouse, remote and monitor up and running quickly.

The 4 channel wired DVR system had its own cameras pre-packaged. They were all day/night colored wired bullet cameras that fit well within the location. The 100-foot video cables were a breeze to conceal, too.

The 17-inch LCD monitor was positioned with the current security detail of the owner's daughter. He was glad for my help and for my expertise and I was happy that I got to provide a former employer and a friend with a good security system.
