By Lyndon Roberts

Adding oatmeal to a facial is old news. There numbers of homemade facials available that you can put to use in order to make your skin appear and feel improved. A majority of individuals who are specialists with homeopathic skin care suggest putting oatmeal to use as one of your primary ingredients. This is due to the fact that oatmeal can be used to sop up surplus oil, to exfoliate the skin and to distribute moisture to the skin on your face.

Next is a really easy homemade facial recipe that has oatmeal in it. Mix a couple of teaspoons oatmeal and a teaspoon of baking soda. Add a sufficient amount of water to change the baking soda and oatmeal mixture into a great paste. Smear the paste over your face while being careful to steer clear of your eyes and the skin near them. Rub the substance smoothly onto your skin and, after waiting a jiffy, wash your face clean with some clean warm water. Dab your face dry with a clean and luxurious towel.

Next spread mix onto your skin being sure to avoid your eyes. Use a warm wet washcloth to remove this mix after around fifteen minutes. Your skin will feel rejuvenated.

Avoid the skin around your eyes as you spread this mix on your face. Let the paste sit for up to fifteen minutes before washing it off with warm water. How does that feel? If you have dry skin, this next recipe can be really helpful. Mix together a ripe banana that has been mashed and a cup of oatmeal. Thin out this thick mixture with milk to form a creamy paste. Avoid the area around your eyes when you spread this creamy paste on your face and allow it to sit for ten to fifteen minutes. Use clean water to rinse it off after the fifteen minutes. You should notice the difference in your skin right away.

One very simple oatmeal facial involves simply mixing together a whole egg, some cooked instant oatmeal and a little bit of olive oil. Mix these three ingredients together until you have a smooth paste. Daub the paste onto your face and permit it to dry. After the mask has dried, rinse your face off with a bit of lukewarm water. Your face will be spotless, supple and absent of oils.

Let it sit on your face for a moment or two and then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Gently pat your face dry, using a soft, dry towel. There are many ways to use oatmeal to help improve the condition of your skin. Oatmeal is highly recommended by skin care specialists if you want to make your own facials.
