How Could You Guarantee That Your Baby Is In Good Hands

By Walliam B McCuin

I was slowly getting into first-time motherhood the moment my maternity leave's extension that had previously been approved was rescinded unexpectedly. My boss, who also happened to be my hubby's sibling, was having a sink-or-swim situation and badly wanted me back.

Feeling sympathetic to a sibling's predicament, my husband acquiesced and we scrambled to look for a nanny at such short notice. A teddy bear hidden DVR camera to keep tabs on our new sitter has been my one source of calm in this unforeseen mess.

While any kind of surveillance camera could monitor motion, only a disguised camera can do so furtively. For not making its presence known, it gets people to show their true nature and in this way exposes fraud, treachery as well as evildoing.

A high-resolution color camera concealed in a toy bear can do just that. Placed among the stuffed toys facing my firstborn's crib, my sitter cam watches the nanny for signs of abusive behavior or any tendency for theft as well as indiscretion.

Because my life grew to become chaotic so suddenly, I selected a security camera with a built-in DVR to keep things simple. Because it has a component for recording, the camera is ready to roll directly off the shelf, with no installation necessary.

Considering that the motion-activated DVR may begin recording only once it discerns activity, I can leave it to work every time the care provider is inside my baby's room. I review the footage at the end of each week in the comfort of my bedroom, along with my hubby.

Video playback is very simple. One way is to put the free SD card into a matching reader on the pc. Another would be to have the supplied RCA cable hook up the camera to a Tv set or like screen.

When people ask me my secret to keeping it together as a working mother of a newborn baby, I tell them that it truly is a secret. My teddy bear hidden DVR camera clues me in on exactly how my little one is doing around the clock.
