Defense Flashlight Has Multiple Uses

By Steve Thibeault

We sometimes hear on the news, reports about a brazen attack of some kind by a criminal during the daytime. We are told this happened "during broad daylight" and as such it is rather unusual, as most of these occurrences happened under cover of darkness. Those who perpetrate these crimes normally try and avoid being identified.

It pays to be aware of your surroundings at all times and worry about your safety. This is only common sense and it is especially applicable at night. As the winter comes around, we find that we are out under cover of darkness a lot more as the nights get longer. Sometimes we're just walking the dog, other times we are setting out for some exercise by jogging or other times we're just walking to the mailbox. In all these situations, you need to be aware of some form of self-defense, especially if you feel vulnerable or frail. Why not carry a defense flashlight with you, giving you illumination and peace of mind?

Nobody likes to be stranded by the side of the road when a vehicle breaks down. It can be particularly annoying, even though it does not happen very often these days. Should this take place at night, you will need to see what you are doing and will have to wave somebody down to help you or may need to lift up the hood to look beneath. Of course in this situation you can be particularly vulnerable to a criminal and if you carry a defense flashlight you can guard against this situation while also seeing what you are doing.

If you have a defense flashlight with you when you are out and about at night, not only will you be able to see where you're going, but you will be able to protect yourself if you should be suddenly attacked or confronted by someone. The defense flashlight is a three in one device " a working flashlight, a loud alarm and a stun gun.

The stun gun is probably the most effective personal security device available today. If you come up against somebody who is confronting you, you simply hold the stun gun against him and it emits a very powerful charge. This will interfere with his central nervous system and will cause him to drop to the ground. There will be no permanent damage, but there will be plenty of time for you to make your escape or sound the alarm.

You may very well be in a vulnerable position if your car should be stranded on the highway or if you are out jogging alone after dark, but you could have the element of surprise should someone confronts you by carrying a defense flashlight. It simply does not look like a potent weapon but packs a punch.

The defense flashlight will definitely give you peace of mind as should you need to sound an alarm, it will emit a 130 dB note. This is more than enough to attract help and if this does not work, an 80,000 volt charge to the attacker should do the trick.

When you carry the defense flashlight in your car, some models come complete with a detachable flashing red cone. If you break down by the side of the road, you can use this to warn other traffic of your position.
