Know The Protection Benefits Of Owning A Personal Safety Alarm

By Hary B Gatsch

When every teacher in my elementary school was convinced to bring personal protection outdoors, Mrs. Caroll refused to be near any pepper sprays or stuns guns because of her sentiment that it would hurt another person.

For our personal defense, teachers either own a pepper spray, personal safety alarm, or a stun gun. Our community had a high rate of criminality because of the thick population of different ethnic races.

However, we did not stop persuading her of the importance of personal security especially when she was outdoors. We added that she can always choose a type of protection where she did not have to physically hurt another, like a personal safety alarm.

She shared that she is aptly protected with a personal safety alarm already which she simply kept as a secret. To try to prove she had one, she pulled from her bag a 130db Personal alarm which accidentally went off when she unintentionally pulled the strap from the alarm pin. The faculty room was filled with laughter and we were all delighted to know no one is left behind on personal protection.

Though it is not intended to hurt those who mean you harm, the alarm when triggered will attract attention as it is a 130db Personal Alarm that sounds as loud as eight 100db alarms grouped together.

When you purchase personal safety alarm kit, it includes a door alarm accessory that can also be used as a window alarm and therefore keep the whole household safe.

This makes the 130db Personal Alarm practical in any home, dormitories, and even hotels since it can be powered by only a 9-volt battery.

Mrs. Caroll shared that this has been her personal choice because of its portability. She had been toting her personal alarm everywhere she went. Most of all, she did not have to worry that she would hurt anyone in the process of protecting herself.
