Quick Tips About Casual Dressing In Style

By Jimmy Cox

Casual dressing for men is no longer limited to the loose shirt and baggy jeans match these days. With the many updates in fashion and clothing tips, you can now dress down in style. If you are set to stay in the house the whole day to the chores, then, sticking with your usual laid-back top and bottom would be fine. But meeting your child's teacher or having dinner date with your friends would require casual clothes that look smarter. It is actually not about getting attention but the proper way of projecting of one's self.

If typical t-shirts are out, what is left for you to wear? For one, there are the polo shirts. They are collared and they look stylish even though they sport a very simple design. Polo shirts in solid colors are the safest clothes you can take. However, two-toned or multi-colored ones are great options as well. Long-sleeved tops in the same hues are fine too. You can actually wear these casual dress shirts under sharp blazers or jackets. Pair them with slacks or jeans in black or shade of navy blue. Tan and white dress pants are secondary choices that are still acceptable.

What about trends? Are they accepted in this kind of dressing? Yes, they are. However, trendy clothes fit only a few males and they are in style for a men's dress shirt for a period of time. You might end up spending more than what your budget can afford when you follow them. Instead, buy pieces which are suitable to your figure and personality and which you really like. Modesty aside, no matter how deeply you like a logo shirt, keep it out of your list for casual clothing. They are not fit to be worn in events like the above-mentioned. More so, you don't want to be mistaken as a representative of the company whose logo and tag line is in your shirt, right?

As you choose classic pieces, make sure they are made of classic materials. However, do not focus on buying branded clothes for your casual dressing task. They could be very expensive for certain reasons - state of the art production and/or designer's name attached to it. If they are pricey for the fabric and exclusivity of the design, then they are worth every cent you are spending. If otherwise, rethink about buying them again. For the clothes' sizes, choose one that somehow hugs your body. This means it is not too tight and not too loose. Never be in the trend of wearing slim cut tops if they will look like muscle shirts on your body.

Perhaps, you are to attend a get- together. Keep in mind to look great and be a level higher in comparison to how other may dress up. Nonetheless, avoid overkills. In the case that you will be attending a company event, ensure that you do not upstage the presence of your boss with what you wear. This is a great way to show courtesy to the higher-ups.

In connection to casual dressing, stay well-groomed all the time. Shave and have a salon hair cut. If you still doubt your skills in picking up the right clothing choices, have a friend - preferably one with good fashion sense - who can give you a hand.
