Some of the few Interview Tips

By Gill Christ

When you show up at the interviewer's door, there are a few interview tips that you must keep in mind. You must have an insight about what you will be asked during the interview and you should prepare yourself accordingly. You should know about the usual questions that would be asked by your interviewer.

Review your resume and see what was the particular thing that interested your interviewer. It might be some kind of qualification that you have that suits your job specification. It may be some kind of specialization that you have done recently. It may also be some sort of training that you may have recently done. You must shine during your interview so that you standout among others who are interviewed besides you.

Know your employees needs and compose your interview accordingly and steer it that way. You must know all about the company you want to work in. Study their annual reports and see what changes they have recently made. Rehearse yourself for all the possible questions they are going to ask you.

The dress code must be formal may you be male or female. Get your conservative business suit ready for the interview if you are a male. Females should get a formal dress for themselves and must have a hairdo that does not fall on their face. Half the game is already won if you succeed to impress your interviewer by dressing up properly. Be extra careful when you try something for this reason.

Place your things in a proper folder, briefcase or attache' and don't carry anything loose. This way you surely project a positive and professional image which is a good thing. Present yourself as confidently as you can to leave a lasting impact in the eyes of the interviewer. Do not have a late night out before the interview day and possibly avoid it for later some time. Take proper and adequate rest and if you can't get to sleep take some hot beverage or a hot bath and get yourself to sleep.

Unless or until you have a legitimate excuse, do not show up late for the interview. The interviewer has already heard a lot of excuses during the day so be sure you do not irritate him if your excuse is not genuine and is lame. Focus on your future role as an employee when you ask something and do not ask what your salary or perks would be.
