Researchers are yet to pinpoint the exact reason why Port Charlotte mental health problems occur but have discovered that triggers are associated to either environmental, psychological or biological factors. For loved ones who may be suffering the debilitating effects of the symptoms associated with these illnesses it is prudent that you understand the triggers. Below are some of the most common that can be dealt with if identified early on during development while others require constant care and management.

Neurotransmitters are chemicals found in the brain that help in the communication of the different brain cells and if unbalanced can trigger symptoms of illnesses. Communication between the nerve cells is important for the normal functionality of any living animal. A number of infections have been found to cause serious brain damage hence the development or worsening of symptoms of illness. For instance, Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorder or PANDA is linked to the Streptococcus bacterium that is linked to the progression of obsessive-compulsive disorder in children. Some signs of this disorder include a fear of dirt, making mistakes, causing harm to others, need for order among others.

Injuries incurred to the head because of an accident are also another viable cause under the biological factors category. This category includes interference of fetal brain growth and trauma caused to the child during birth such as the lack of oxygen. Abuse of substance has for years been seen as a major contributor for otherwise normal individuals behaving in erratic manners.

Psychological reasons include the trauma that one goes through as a child and can be in the form of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse. Loss of a parent while one is a child is another viable cause as is neglect. Some of the grounds for development of illnesses to do with the mind can however be stopped at the very onset and the individual, through therapy can get back to normal functionality.

The environment also has a role to contribute in triggering cases of cerebral illnesses. These include the passing away of a loved one or the trauma of going through an especially painful divorce and a dysfunctional family unit life. Some of the triggers include having to change jobs and even schools for children as well as social pressures from the community to fit in a certain category.

Other factors not listed above that are liable of causing Port Charlotte mental health problems include the exposure to certain toxins like lead. On identification, it is advisable to take the individual to a specialist who can then be able to make an educated diagnosis and recommend a course of action. Individual with these illnesses should however be treated with respect and potential stressors to be avoided at all times.
