Not too long ago a friend of mine was assaulted in the parking lot while she was walking to her car after work. She is fine now. But, she had quite a few fears to overcome immediately after getting home from the hospital. If she had had some sort of self defense product to defend herself with the night she was attacked, she might not have wound up in the hospital. Pepper spray is a non-lethal way to protect yourself if someone is trying to harm you.
I guess we just never took the time to think how unsafe our lives are. We seem to take for granted that life is so precious and there are people who are willing to harm another human being, no matter the costs. Because we live in such an unsafe world, some sort of self defense device is a necessity of life.
I checked out a web site online that specializes in different types of self defense products. I immediately discovered a liking to OC defensive sprays. There were so many colors, I thought I was opening a crayon box. I even gasped a little. My sister was amazed that these were actually pretty items.
Also, the color ranges are wide. I remember seeing some OC spray several years ago at a gun store. It was nothing impressive. But, these that I saw online were very colorful. You can get one to match your purse. I think that is funny, getting one to match an article you already have. I saw one in my favorite color, and that is purple. I may get that one.
I found a model which looked like hand weights! Can you believe it? You can take them to the gym, use it to work out, and take them with you as your secret weapon. Now, how neat it would be to have something like that! My quilting group would not think it so.
But, this world does not have many people like that any more. People are too selfish, now. They care nothing for others; only themselves. It is only about what they can take. This is the reason that lady was attacked and left for dead. This is the reason her face was badly beaten and cut. This is the reason why we all should take measures to be sure our family members are protected.
My sister took me to a shop which specializes in different types of self defense weapons. Mace pepper spray make sense to me. Now, if you want to have a handgun, I do not blame you. But, for me, I just do not think I could pull the trigger. However, I have no problems with using pepper spray.
This would make a great gift for anyone you care about. It will give them a sense of security and might even save their life. How could anyone not appreciate your thoughtfullness upon receiving such a fantastic gift? Is it not better to have pepper spray and not need it, than to not have it and then need it?
