What To Learn About Free Online Jobs From Home

By Steff Primer

Free online jobs from home may seem too good to be true, and that is because often they are. First of all, a job should always be free. You would not pay your employer to hire you when you apply for a job in an accounting firm, so why would you pay someone to hire you online. If you are being charged, the job is a scam.

There are forms of online recruitment agencies around, who ask you to pay them to find you jobs. You should not need these however, as the real jobs are always free. Sometimes a site which advertises jobs charges a percentage of what you earn, but this should always be taken after you have earned the money.

Rewriting articles, entering data, completing surveys and collecting information such as email addresses are just some of the kinds of jobs to be found online. With data entry, you are given information either in the form of a document, from a website or a spreadsheet. You enter this data into an organised format in a spreadsheet, either manually typing it in or copying and pasting.

To rewrite an article means producing an article which conveys the same information as the original, but is written with different words and phrases. This is similar to researching information to use in an essay, you do not just quote the texts straight into your article, you paraphrase. Collecting information does require you to make a decision about how far you will go to make money. Sometimes in these positions you collect email addresses for someone to spam, or other information which allows people to track internet usage and hack into personal computers.

Online surveys appear to be the most legitimate. A lot of sites use a rewards point system instead of actual cash. With the rewards points you can get vouchers and discounts, often for online shopping. By filling in a profile with your interests, earning potential, family situation and other personal information, you allow the companies to target you with relevant surveys.

Some survey businesses do pay in cash, but not as much as you may be led to believe. A survey will earn you a few dollars at most. The occasional hundred dollar survey does exist, but you need to be selected through a strict criteria, and this does not often occur. Do not believe the sites which quote paying out hundreds of dollars, or the testimonials guiding you to an online earning site where they made their millions. If these sites truly existed, none of us would have regular jobs anymore.

The people that these types of jobs suit are mothers who do not work, students with spare time and anyone who would like to increase their income. The hardest part is sifting through all the scams and finding somewhere that employers really do need employees and really will pay them. One of the first things to keep in mind is that real job advertisements will use excellent English, and will not excessively market their job with testimonials and so forth. The sites which do this are scams.

Online job boards generally do have a good list of real jobs. They often process the payment side of things through their own site so that you do not have to provide your bank details to multiple people. As long as you are careful and do not pay money to anyone, you can earn with free online jobs from home.
