Simple Things That Make You Happy

By Thomas J. Ly

Do you often feel like you are alone in this world with no one to talk to? Do you have friends coming over at your place every other day and simply crash for the night? If both questions answered no, then it is time to find out what is really wrong with you and how come you are not happy.

Smile to be happy. Show those pearly whites every day of the week and see what you get in return. You may receive a complementary smile or you might just land yourself a date, you'll never know unless you try.

Probably the reason why you have such a good thing to live for everyday is that you have a sister or a brother to talk to. Reconnect with your long lost sibling and see if you can rekindle lost time together. Take the time to visit your sibling or even have dinner during weekends.

Try to avoid too much TV as much as possible. People who are glued to the TV day in and day out are less likely to be happy about themselves than people who are out and about socializing with other people. Go out and spend the night with your friends rather than watch the TV even if there is nothing on.

Display your souvenirs. People who tend to put their displays near them or for people to see are always reminded of happy times while they are away. It makes them appreciative of the things they have done in life than people who keep things out of the way.

People who make exercise their priority are people who are happy with their bodies. When people exercise, they are able to cope more with stress and are a lot calmer when dealing with problems than those who live a sedentary lifestyle.

Couples who do the deed thrice or more a week are a lot happier based on a recent report. Married people who often have sex are 30 percent more happy than couples who pass on the activity. It is also one of the major reasons why people report being happier.

You associate yourself with happy people. By staying close to people who are happy, you begin to feel a lot happier and increase the chances of you living a happier life.
